Round two

This weekend: we cut mom's hair. She looks cute. Really. Never knew mom had such an attractive head on the outside (inside we've always known there was something there). Jesse shaved his too, and I must say he looks quite chiseled.

We have a bunch of photos to share. Jesse just needs to get them off his camera (hint hint).

Other news: They drained more than a quart of fluid off of mom's lungs on Friday. Mom reports she can breathe much better and I've proposed signing up for a marathon.

Other news II: Mom felt like eating this weekend. Saw her take down some eggs, half a chicken sandwhich, a nibble of oatmeal cookie, a decent sized bowl of chicken soup....That's reason enough to celebrate!

Other news III: Mom heads in for round two of chemo today.

Tally ho, mom.

Dearest Diane,
Some of us always knew you were cute!
Keep putting that food in, Diane. I'm sending lots of energy and positive healing thoughts your way. And, as much as I'm able to focus this flit-around mind, I'll keep on doing so. I really appreciate these updates -- they're my reminders to "be there with you."
Lots of love, Deb

A New Do for Diane and a Yarn of the Travels of S and O.
As we traveled about WA,OR and CA after a weekend with Jeff , Diane, Jesse, Val and Alex: and our Megan and Jesse: we headed into the winding roads to gawk at the sights and hike in interesting spots: meanwhile my fingers were busy with soft burgundy merino wool: winding and spiraling along the winding and spiraling roads: we returned for a quick stop yesterday and Diane modeled her new DO/HAT. The soft burgundy wool made her skin glow and her beautiful dark eyes sparkle.
Love and Hugs to all the Hamms,
Sarah and Owen
